Who We are

¨Fundación Educativa para el Desarrollo del Potencial Humano¨ was founded in 1994 as a private, non-profit, educational entity to be known as the Educational Foundation for the Development of Human Potential.

The first project of the foundation was the development and implementation of an educational program which now encompasses grades one through twelve and is known as The Village School.

The Foundation and its educational institution, The Village School, seeks to promote in its students an integrated development of their human potential within the realities of local, national and international contexts.

Our goal is to promote the student`s development as a citizen leader. The Village School offers a positive environment for the development of children at the primary, intermediate, and secondary educational levels.

The Foundation believes in the importance of the academic, scientific, multilingual, physical and moral development of Guatemalan students and students of other nationalities. In keeping with its name, Educational Foundation for the Development of Human Potential, The Foundation seeks to prepare young people for becoming active participants in the socioeconomic development process in Guatemala , distinguishing themselves by their high standards of excellence and strong personal values and ethics. All projects to be initiated by the Foundation will promote and maintain this worthy goal.
